Question Summer Plans?

Let’s hear your plans for the summer?
Are you going on holidays?
Do you plan on buying some new summer clothing?
Reunions or Weddings to go to?
And what do you think others will say about your lost?
What has been the difference from last summer?
Or do you think all these functions will make your wander away from LC?

This summer is going to be wonderful, we have a big family reunion coming this August and I am trying my best to get to 160. We also camp quite a bit with family and friends too. For those people who haven't seen me in a few years, Im sure it will be a shocker......lol
I feel so good when I get compliments from others, and Im not shy about telling them how much I weighed before and what I weigh now.....as before I only told folks how much I lost. Isn't that strange???
Maybe I feel more confident than ever now.

The other day I got all my old summer clothing out of the boxes,
there way to big for me, so I need to buy a whole new wardrobe, some
of the old clothes still fit ok, but its shocking even those clothes
are a little loose. No more plus-sizes for me

Last summer was a disaster for me, thats when I fell off the wagon and regained 20 pounds, this year, its going to be different, I will not lose control of myself, if I do wander, I will get right back on at the next meal. I am not going to let food ruin my summer. I plan on enjoying life to the fullest this summer!

Good for you, Chrissy.

There's talk of a family reunion this summer for me, too. I haven't seen my cousins/aunts/uncles since '99, so I hope it happens.

Other than that, I just plan on enjoying the nice weather.

We haven't even had spring yet here! Been so cool and wet -- it actually snowed a bit on Saturday morning (May 18!)!!! We're really looking forward to summer this year!

Family reunions sound so great -- with we had one (maybe I could organize one next year). No weddings or graduations this year.

We'll plant our garden when the weather straightens out, go camping, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming, to the parks, etc. -- all of the typical summer stuff.

We're staying close to home this year, so our 'big' trip is going to Green Bay -- about a 3-1/2 hour drive -- for a few days. I was there last year on business, but the rest of my family has never been there. We're also going over to Door County -- I've never been there, but have heard it is beautiful.

The rest of the time we'll just hang out at home.

More summer courses for me, and a high school reunion that I'm hoping to shape up for!

There will probably be weddings for me to go to this summer, I know of 2 so far for September.

Lots of camping and bonfires on the beach hopefully.

Looks like some shopping is going to be in order this summer too...outshrinking all my old ones!

All the best everyone!!

Summer! My favourite season! This summer won't be too exciting, but how bad can a season be when there's no snow!?!

I have a correspondence course to do, and I'll be working(once I get a job...I hate my town!!)

I also plan on losing more weight and getting a tan. I've been growing my hair, so I want to look FABULOUS when I go back up to school in the fall! I want jaws to drop!!!

Cool Summery stuff

Peg, you are going to LOVE Door County! My former fiance and I used to go there often (we lived in Milwaukee) in every season--it's gorgeous there no matter the time of year. You'll have to visit Sister Bay and eat at Al Johnson's; it's a fabulous Swedish restaurant, and the star attractions are the goats that graze on the sod roof. Honest!

Hiking in Peninsula State Park is another delight not to be missed, IMHO.

But enough PR for Door County....

I have no reunions or weddings on the slate, but my aunt and uncle are coming up from TX early in June (good grief, that's only two weeks away!!!). The last time they saw me I was in a size.... lemme think.... 18, I believe. I can't wait to see their faces when I stroll in wearing my size 12s.

Our big trip is this weekend, to NYC. My daughter's father's flying us out there on his dime, providing us with spending $$, taking us to a Broadway show... the whole nine yards. He's already seen me (last month, for her b'day when he came out for a week), so I know his reaction already. It was worth it.

I'm not quite ready for that two-piece bathing suit lying in my dresser drawer, but the one-piece looks *fantastic*--and I'll take that, for sure!

Who else? Let's hear it, folks!

HI there...

I just wanted to stop by and say a huge CONGRATULATIONS on all the weight you have lost already.

What a great accomplishment, there's nothing like getting rid of clothes that don't fit because THEY ARE TOOOOO BIG!!!!

You have yourself a GREAT summer!!

Looks like summer may have actually arrived today. Sunny and kind of warm..

Spending this weekend on Mackinac Island. It is nice place between the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. It is like stepping back in time. They don't allow any cars--there are horses and carriages. I go every year for a convention. There are fudge shops about every 20 feet so hopefully I can keep walking right past them.

In July I will be going out to Winthrop, Washington for a wedding by way of Seattle. Looking forward to seeing the city.

Mark
