Hi everyone, I have been wanting to try Atkins for a long time and today is my first day on induction. I have been reading everyones messages and it is filled with so much information. I had a 2 egg omelet with chedder cheese and cilantro, and a cup of coffee. I totally love this board and check it everyday, this board has been a great inspiration for me. thanks

Hi Sarah! Welcome to the forum. I think you will find it a great resource as I have. I'm going into my 6th week and still read the forum on a daily or twice a day basis. It seems to keep me focused and not want to stray.

Good luck and stick with it!

Mike

Smile Hello

Hi Chrissy

Welcome to the board. I have never been a coffee drinker. I got my caffine in tea and sodas. It hasn't been bad being off the caffine or the sugar for that matter.

The first week was the worse, then things got better rapidly.

Welcome

Dee

I do like coffee and now that I am on OWL I do drink coffee maybe twice a day and tea two or three times a day.

Decaffeinated coffee and tea are allowed on induction. The decaff coffee's I can manage, but the tea is so insipid I gave up and waited the two weeks out.

I am one of those lucky people not caffeine dependent. No withdrawal symptoms when I didn't drink, no adverse reaction when I do. I can even drink before bedtime and still sleep.

Good luck and welcome

Welcome aboard

This is a great place to come to ....... I enjoy coming here everyday..It gives me a great inspiration to see everyone here.. I also never drank much caffeine either so dont know what its like having to give up that... Water has always been a way of life for me or everynow and then I would have a pepsi mabe 1 every 2 weeks..

Good luck on your new journey in this WOL.... You can do it..
