Default FEEL how much you've lost!!!

At 16 pounds down and looking at more than 50 to go...I needed a little boost.

Then....I wondered what did the weight I lost FEEL like. So I put a couple of hand held weights and soda cans in a bag to equal 16 pounds

OMG!!! I can't even imagine carting that bag around all day...and I've got about 4 more "bags" like that to loose!!

If you EVER need a boost....give it a try!!!

It'll lighten your load!!!!!

That is a good idea. I have a nephew who weighs 50 pounds and I have often thought that my excess weight was like carrying him around all day. That is a lot of extra. One whole extra person never being able to put down for a break. Man I am thankful I found Atkins. It is the only diet that has ever worked for me EVER!!!!

I do this too. If I pick up my 9 year old daughter, I will be holding as much as I have lost. I can't do it for more than a second or two. It is definately something to keep us motivated.

When I had lost 35 lbs., I picked up my 2 year old (at the time) daughter and stood on the scale. It was so liberating to be able to just put her down while I was on the scale and see how the pin quickly jumped back to my current (then) weight. When I'm at 70 lbs. lost, I'd have to pick up my nephew and my oldest daughter to equal the weight loss (but I wouldn't have the same effect since I now have a digital scale )

I looked at 32 pounds of Butter.
Man! That's a lot of fat!
My knees used to ache.
Now I know why!
