Gym today for 40 minutes of workout on my lower body. Used the eliptical machine for 10 minutes (it's hard)... then worked my hamstrings, inner and outer thighs... also worked on my abdominal area with the sit-up machine with added weights. I'm so sore.. but that's a good thing right?
I've been talking to a guy that lives near here that has his own fitness business and is willing to help me out with my tummy area. I really want to get that off more than anything else. I can work on my thighs later lol.
good job on the work out. take it nice and easy. just remember that you cant "spot" reduce. the area will get toned but the diet will help with the fat. i know about that darn ellipical machine. a good way to beat it is to slowly increase your time and resistance on it. increase by five minutes and one level once a week. that should give your body enough time to get use to it. i know that you can do it. i am starting to work out five times a week. three days of cardio and weights and two days of jogging/running. soon you will be outdoing me. good luck
SO back at it.. didn't think I'd be working on this gym log as it's so rough to workout considering I'm a smoker AND overweight. But.. today (day one) I pulled off 25 situps (so far, and wasn't out of breath), and some pilates I remember from my DVDs I used to have. I really need to start walking.. but it's so damn hot out.
Friday and Saturday I made it to the gym. Both days were similar in I walked a mile briskly, 2.5 - 2.7 MPH. Saturday I did some sort of incline the entire way to burn a few more calories.
