Ha! After my little meltdown earlier this week. I was surprised by my weigh-in and measurements this AM.

These are my results from start, 4 weeks & 8 weeks (all in inches):

Bust: 31.5 /31.5 /31.5
Chest: 28 /28 7/8 /29
Arms: R10.25 L10.5 /R10.25 L10.25 /R10.5 L10 3/8
Waist: 26 /26 /25.5
Stomach: 31.5 /30.25 / 30
Hips: 35.5 /35.25 /34.75
Thighs: R20.5 L20.5 /R20.25 L20.5 /R20.5 L20.5
Calves: R12.75 L12.75 /R12 5/8 L12.75 /R12.75 L12.75

Weight: 117lbs /118 lbs /118.5lbs

BF%: 24.5% /24.25% /23.75%

Fat lost since beginning: 1 lb

Muscles gained since beginning: 2.5 lbs

Now, I have no idea how accurate all this is because the telling points for me are my hips and waist. I checked and rechecked my hips and I am sure the new measurements are accurate (going around my widest points). However, stomach and waist are a crap shoot as I seem to balloon up and down like nobody's business.

Hopefully my last four weeks will show some definitive progress in my waist, stomach and hips. I hope my before and after pics will show some definite progress too. I really can't tell because I am so in the thick of it all, if you know what I mean.

I really wish I could do a caliper test because I think that would be more accurate. But I will have to settle for being as accurate as I can with my measuring.

In any case, I am happy that today's results show a downward trend in BF%. I was sure that I had actually increased BF% when I was so discouraged earlier this week.

WTG Bobbie :) that extra 2.5 lbs of muscle will be burning an extra 125 calories of your body fat a day - for the rest of your life. Building muscle can be tough for some, many people spend a whole year looking for that extra lb. Whenever I see 'fat lost/muscle gained' I think of that picture I posted last week - the difference between 5 lbs of each.

These are great results, you should be proud.

Isn't that gross? That picture of the fat is exactly what is floating around on my lower abdomen right now and I want it gone, gone, gone, even If I have to do BFL challenges until I die! :D But hopefully it will be gone long before then. (LOL)

Ta ra!

Bobbie....

I'm really happy that you actually DO have some results. I think that proportionate to your size those results are excellent. And as we are constantly reminded....we are all different and shouldn't expect to share common results. Keep it up girl!

Nat......

All I can think of when I look at that pic is: EEEEuuuuwwwwwww!!

I'm assuming that is adipose fat. It really truly is gross stuff. Easy to see how it creates a pebbley/lumpy surface. And to see how muscles gets us looking slim and sleek.

I guess this explains why the scale isn't always as accurate as your old jeans!! Gross stuff that fatty tissue...Yuck!!

Great Job!!!
