Default Have you heard of MEVO?

I have read on another low carb board about MEVO--- Meat, Eggs, Veggies, and Oils. Several low carbers on that site suggested it to those that are at a stall. Basically it is eliminating dairy such as cream and cheese, as well as nuts. I am considering MEVO for the next two weeks, and wondering if anyone has heard of it and/or tried it. I am not at a stall necessarily, but I am currently taking Provera for my PCOS issues and I find it does slow down my weight loss considerably, as well as it causes water retention.

Thanks in advance!!

It's also known as KISS, and here is a link to a previous thread on it.

I think it's a great way to eat!

Karen~

i read your reply and checked out the links, and from what i can tell, KISS (MEVO) includes non-processed meats and veggie. So does this mean I cannot have bacon? That is my breakfast staple. What exactly do non-processed meats include? Also is salad dressing off limits during KISS (MEVO)? I am really wanting to kick start some weight loss considering I am battling the effects of PROVERA and am about to go back to school as a teacher in two weeks. Thank you soooo much Karen for posting informative information! Your posts are always looked forward to!

Thanks!
