1oz BIO-ALTERNATIVES

WILD MEDITERRANEAN OIL OF OREGANO

Great products from a brand name you can trust!

This is the true (Origanum Vulgare) Mountain Grown Wild Mediterranean Oregano Oil that everyone is talking about! Our Oregano Oil is imported directly from the Mediterranean and assayed to contain 85% Carvacrol minimum. Please note that this is TRUE TURKISH Oregano Oil and not inexpensive Spanish Oregano Oil as is often sold on ebay. (Spanish Oregano is actually Thymus capitatus and not the plant used in clinical research.) Oregano Oil quality is determined by Carvacrol content and this is the highest Carvacrol concentration of any Oregano Oil we have found. Carvacrol is a powerful antimicrobial (antibiotic) and is the active ingredient of Oregano Oil.

GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY STUDY

A Georgetown researcher (Harry G. Preuss, MD, MACN, CNS, professor of physiology and biophysics) has found oregano oil may be an effective treatment against dangerous, and sometimes drug-resistant bacteria. Two studies have shown that oregano oil—and, in particular, carvacrol, one of oregano’s chemical components—appear to reduce infection as effectively as traditional antibiotics. Oregano Oil's effects were compared to those of standard antibiotics streptomycin, penicillin and vacnomycin. The oregano oil at relatively low doses was found to inhibit the growth of staphylococcus bacteria as effectively as the standard antibiotics did. Research conducted by the same team found Oregano Oil to be effective against fungal (Athlete's foot, Candida, Yeast, etc.) infections also. These findings were presented at the American College of Nutrition.

Oil of Oregano is used in the prevention and treatment of: acne, allergies, arthritis, asthma, athlete's foot, candida, constipation, croup, digestive disturbances, insect bites, bronchitis, canker sores, colds, flu, earaches, fatigue, gum disease, headaches, menstrual irregularities, muscle pain, parasites, pneumonia, psoriasis, toenail fungus, toothache, seborrhea, staph & strep infection, strep (sore) throat, ringworm, rosacea, sinusitis, and warts
