I have a friend on Lipitor and Tricor for high cholesterol. I am concerned about her being on these.

But my main question is

She is having a very hard time losing weight. Can Lipitor or Tricor be causing this ??

She is also on high blood pressure medication but I have not found out the name of the drug yet. So, do some blood pressure medications cause problems losing weight ???


Do any of the above medications contribute to water retention ??
