Question Emeril's Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

Hello Everyone : I recently bought Emeril's Roasted Red Pepper Sauce and there was no nutrional label on the jar but I read the ingredients and found that there was absolutely no sugar. I have tried to find nutritional information online but there is nothing out there. My question is, does anyone have this information? I seem to have gained 2 pounds back in one day after having the sauce and won't buy it again but just wanted to know if anyone out there can help?

Thanks and happy low-carbing.

I don't have any nutritional information, but just wanted to say that the weight gain might have been because of the sodium content. Does it list salt or sodium as an ingredient? If it's close to the beginning of the list of ingredients, that means it has a lot. Sodium always makes me retain water/weight.

I have know that peppers contain a lot of carbs but here are the ingredients to this sauce:

Ingredients: tomatoes, tomato puree, roasted red bell peppers, red bell peppers, extra virgin olive oil, roasted onions, garlic, hot pepper sauce, salt, concentrated lemon juice, spices and crushed red pepper.

I have emailed the company about the nutritional index so I will have to wait and see what they say.

Thanks.

Tomatoes can be higher carb and higher GI, rememebr they are a fruit. Some peoiple are effected while others aren't though, so if you havn't had a problem with tomatos or tomato sauce, I'd be inclined to agree, blame it on sodium or hormones.
