Didn't reach the target, but still made progress towards it
I started 2023 with a goal of 5,000 daily steps .. gradually increased to 5,600 (roughly 11%). I'm pleased with this progress, considering a few years ago I barely averaged 3,500 daily steps. Fibromyalgia 25+ yrs, and more recently plantar inflammation .. always a balancing act between helpful energy-boosting activity and overdoing it.
Not an excuse to quit, though. On to 2024
