I walked a little bit yesterday but slow because of the ankle but a walk is a walk and I'm counting it.

Today was BAT SHIT crazy at work, didn't sit down for the first 8 hours, not once, was just running around back and forth like a wild woman and SWEATING my ass off in the air con!

Of course now my ankle is swollen like an lemon, but it didn't hurt while walking.

Booooo lemon ankle, get with the program ho! It's elevated, I'll take some tylenol, la-dee-da life shall go on and I'm counting today's work as a freaking walk! Hell, I was sprinting some of the time, it SO counts.

After injuring myself last week going hog-wild starting my walks, and this week starting the first week coordinating our summer camp and NEVER sitting down, my ankle is swollen up every day by 10am and I limp the rest of the day. Freaking LAME! At least I AM walking around the entrie day, but I want to go for "real" walks when I get home, but instead I'm elevating it to try to bring down the swelling. At least tommorow I work a different job where I'll get to sit some. And Sunday off. I don't have TIME for an injury! Freaking LAME!! Think I should wrap it during the day? Take tylenol for the swelling or something?

We have a walk challenge at work.

My goal is 10K steps daily. Proud to say that I've beat my goal every day - so far.

I will try to check in here.

Lindy... RICE is your friend while your ankle heals.
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

You should definitely probably be wrapping it up. Daily. The tylenol will also help with the pain or any pain reliever. Hopefully on Sunday you can get in a full day of elevating it to see if that will help speed up recovery. Good luck.

I'm going to walk to the store in about 3 minutes. I'm on lunch so I have an hour to use up. Should take me about 30 minutes to walk there and back. Maybe I'll walk around the campus afterwards. Better than nothing.

I've been walking my dog twice a day for a while now and feel great for it, first walk is morning, 5 miles at 4mph and second walk late aft/early eve 5 miles again at a more leisurely 3.5-3.8 mph. loving it.
