There's a new option in your settings page (Edit Setting). It allows you to choose the default (initial) serving size, either 100 grams or 1 ounce. This will take effect in the food entry page, recipe editor and bulk entry form.

Also, all food entries now have a 1 ounce serving size, in addition to the default 100 grams.
