Very happy everyone is holding plan so well. I am too.
I am making no allowances to go off plan. Don't require any
Lowjax, a challenge thread like this is a great reminder for accountability and it sure helps me also. I never want to come on the thread and have to 'fess up' LOL Easier to stay on plan and keep this thread in my mind up front

All good....cruising thru the holiday season in good form.

Food sounds great, Karen! Keep up the good work!

No issues yesterday for me. Had to grab some food on the fly and took the time to look things up first Not sure why some places put so much sugar in their salads, but they do. So, grilled chicken instead.

Today will be simple. Coffee w/H&H, a salad for lunch, and pork tenderloin stir fry for dinner.

We are over 1/2 way through the holidays, people! Next week will be tough, but we can do this! It's going to be great coming out the other side of the holidays at a lower weight than when I went in, instead of being completely derailed like many years in the past.

yes they do cause sugar is key to 'rebuying' and 'reordering' for profit to make ya come back and it is truly sad.

I despise eating out anymore much to the horror of my hubby, but tough noogies. I put health over eating out point blank as 'a social thing' but I sure get when one has to do eating on the fly thru life cicrumstances, we do best we can

I never put any pressure on the scale ever about me in Dec LOL
This is time to hold plan only, never put any other goals or wants or desires on me other than 'hold plan like the devil' cause easier next years' times is coming

just hold strong at all times, everyone eat ALL the on plan foods they work best on and never skimp cause we got times to get thru and our on plan foods will take us thru!!

Yesterday I ate:
BPC
one baked chix thigh with butter.
two tbsp chive-flavored cream cheese
Not enough food, I know, but if I eat more, I gain.
This happens with old ladies, you know.

Way to stick with it Glenda and Karen. I love that all 3 of us are really in a groove and working through this. It really helps encourage and motivate.

Have an awesome day!

Hey, don't forget your lurkers. I'm holding plan, too. Yesterday, my boss brought us a big-ass breakfast from the residence building (much nicer food than what we have at the donut shop.) I had part of a cheese omelet and that's it. I declined the hash browns; they were burned, anyway. Nice for a change; our egg patties are... not a nice cheese omelet, that's for sure.

Not this old lady LOL
I am 59 knocking on retirement and yesterday I ate 1 lb. NY strip steak, finished off my pork ribs, 2 chicken breasts sautee'd in butter, a tin of sardines and 1/2 cup of taco meat I made for the family's dinner.

I lost .2 on the scale this morning....WEE.

Holding plan well and NOW that anticipation is getting close to get the holiday over....not the fun part, the food part of it I will hold strong thru it all, just throw another steak at me and I will be fine HAHA

Sounds like everyone is on plan and doing well. Not much struggling and that is nice to see, everyone enjoying their eating plans!! I know I love what I eat

Sorry Kristine! I wasn't trying to exclude you. I guess that was my way to get the lurkers out posting again.

On plan today. Breakfast is cheese, coffee w/H&H.
Lunch is leftover pork stir fry stuff from last night.
Dinner will probably be on the go. Thinking a Subway chopped salad with chicken breast and ranch.

yea I got about 15 to goal and then maintenance but I expect to eat the same on zero carb. I mean maybe a bit less if wanted on any day but nice thing is my meat never gives me a gain, I might not lose fast but one perk of my eating plan is no gaining ever if I hold plan and just do my meat/seafood.....and no not recommending the plan to anyone LOL but this zc way of life suits me so well. Fits me, I get to eat so well and heartily and boy am I the type that needs it but can't say what it will be like around 70s, gotta wait til I get there
Everyone sure is in different timelines on their paths ya know.

You'll never guess! I accidentally started doing a Fat Fast a couple of days ago and actually saw a drop on the scale! I would never have done this if I hadn't come to this thread on the forum.
Thanks, guys and gals!

Nice, Glenda!

THERE IS MILK CHOCOLATE ON MY KITCHEN COUNTER, but it's going to work with my DH on Tuesday if he doesn't eat it. I have dark chocolate in the cupboard; no excuse not to just have that with some peanuts, maybe. (I'm not a big peanut fan.)
