Kit that sounds like a good plan to get your body moving.
Caco I hope you get some rest this week.

I moved into my new classroom today. All boxes are unpacked and about a third of it put away. I got worn out and had to go home. I'll hopefully finish it up tomorrow so I can decorate. We officially go back to work on Thursday to start "teacher days". Kids start 2 weeks from today.

We are leaving yet again, on Wed for the Black Hills of South Dakota and then to northern Minnesota for a Family Reunion on my husbands side, so I expect I will be off plan for a while again! Then we are going to meander on thru southern Minnesota and Iowa to see the Amish communities, we’ve always wanted to do that, so will be checking them off of our bucket list. We will be back home about the 31st. So if I don’t check in for awhile, you will know I’m ok.

Kit – hang in there. You know you made a bad choice. Forget it and move forward. No need to feel bad. I’m glad you posted about it. Your plan for move movement is great! I hope you made it to the observatory!

Ang – great job getting right back on plan.

Heidi – Glad to see you posting and back on plan! Yes, I miss the like button too! Have a wonderful trip, it sounds fun and busy!

CaCO – wow, what a weekend!

Forgot to weigh today. I bought some birdseed for my MIL; two, 20 lb bags. They were so heavy I could barely carry them! Then it dawned on me, I’ve lost just over 40 lbs and here, I am struggling to carry 40 lbs! Yay, non-scale victory!

8/3/19 = 230.6
8/4-8/8 = OOT
8/9/19 = 232.6

8/11/19 = 230.6
8/12/19 = 232.2
8/13/19 = 232.0

Still don’t know if that’s a real number but at least it was down! Sadly people would notice if I just slept for 24 hours, or I’d just totally disappear! Wednesday is pitching lesson for my daughter, Thursday is our first practice...this will pretty much entail me telling the parents I’m not going to put up with their crud this season. I don’t know any of them so this is a preemptive strike!

Maybe I’ll get rest next weekend, although my daughter was talking about a second piercing in her ear, and a hair cut, and the park said we would have some kind of practice on Saturday, so maybe not. LOL!

Busy morning. Just got back here to see the other posts.

Heidi - Thanks for letting us know about your trip. Have a wonderful time.

Sosumi - yay for the non-scale victory!

Ang - have fun setting up your classroom. I saw your pics. I’m amazed at how much stuff you have to supply and pack-in. Looks like your class will be a lot of fun.

CaCO3Girl - hope you get some rest soon. Let those parents know who’s boss!

Ummmm.....yeah, I don't get that bump. I did have a low carb soup, maybe it was salty? Oh, and I only slept about 5 hours, but nope didn't earn that one yesterday.

Pitching lesson tonight for my daughter. Last time she did throw some strikes, but she also hit the ceiling several times, so there's that, LOL!

I'm also meeting up with a woman from FB tonight in a Home Depot Parking lot to buy a mini trampoline for my daughter. My son had one of these when he was just starting out. He used it to throw the ball at it and catch it....sounds simple right, IT'S NOT! That mini trampoline makes it fly all over the place! I have to say, it did make him better and with the added bonus that he had hours of entertainment without parental involvement. Hoping it works out the same for my daughter.

My mom went to an AARP meeting yesterday, she retired on 7/1/19 so she has time for those things now. The guest speaker was promoting the health benefits of CBD. This has become HUGE in GA, is it making waves in your neck of the woods?

I’m struggling. Can’t seem to make it through the whole day on plan. Last night the trigger was going to the movies. Can’t face the scale today.

We never did make it to the observatory but did lay out on our hammock in the backyard for a while and saw one meteor together. DH saw a couple more.

CaCO3 - yes CBD oil has been big around here for years. I’ve only tried it a couple of times in a cream as an external pain reliever but it didn’t work for me or DH. My SIL had said it was the only thing that gave her relief when she had shingles.

Hi gang! I'm here. haven't weighed in for a couple of days. My eating has not been on plan. I am below my calories on MyFitnessPal, but not on target with my carbs. Been way over! I am usually able to maintain as long as I don't exceed my allotted calories, but I will only lose if I cut my carbs.

Kit - I am struggling too! I am coming up on my 1 year anniversary of this time at low carb and I was wanting to get to 50 lbs lost by then. sigh.

And yes, things are slowing down again at work. On my previous assignment, for just over a year, I didn't have this cyclical work schedule. It was a nice reprieve!

Kit, those pics showed MY stuff. The school hasn't even given any stuff to me yet.

Kit and Sosumi yall will get that mojo back soon. Take each day one at a time. Partially good is better than nothing at all. I believe in you!

Caco CBD oil has gotten pretty big around here too. I have not heard anything awful about it.

Have yall heard of the #clearthelist movement? Teachers are donating stuff to each other! Some that are not teachers are donating too. Some celebs are donating stuff off entire lists! If you know a teacher ask them if they have an Amazon list. Its a wish list of items for our classrooms. Districts give us a stapler, tape dispenser, some pens and colored paper. No much else. Teachers purchase pretty much ALL the stuff you see up in the rooms when you go see it at Open House. If you can, donate to a teacher friend.

Fell into the trap with DH today. Ate VERY poorly. I was "celebrating" the last day of our summer. UGH. stupid reason.

Ang - That celebration trap gets me all the time. We “celebrate” if we accomplish 1/2 of our to-do list on a weekend.

Good luck on you first official day back at school today!!

Sosumi - Glad work stress is easing up. You’re almost at that 50 pound mark.

Oh dear, it looks like that 232 is going to stick! Not good!

I had the last court date with my son today, he’s had some issues with traffic citations, nothing criminal, but it’s been tough.

First softball practice today, let’s hope I don’t have crap parents for the season.

I broke up with my boyfriend of about 8 months because well, we would go days without talking or texting and while I am
A busy person I need someone to pull me in, not let me just ignore them. Conversely, I felt like I was initiating our communication at least 90% of the time. A girl wants to at least think you are thinking about her you know! Interesting enough, I already have a date set up for Saturday...weird, but true.

Caco that's awesome about a new date already. I'm glad the breakup isn't too rough on you.

Expected with my carb-full day yesterday.

Ate perfectly today. I feel very strong getting back on track AGAIN after a day like yesterday. I even sat with a bunch of candy in the middle of our table and didn't eat any of it. We were also provided breakfast, McDonalds sausage biscuits. I ate only the sausage part. Looking at it as a lifestyle helps. And, how yucky I felt yesterday didn't hurt.

First day back to work. It was a very good day. I felt respected and heard by my admiistration even after having a critical discussiong with her. It was a very nice change from my previous campus.
