Back to the low I hit before I left for my trip last week!
I've always been something of a slow loser, too. This week is a bit unusual, because I'm readjusting from my trip. In the past, it's typically been a couple of pounds a month. When I re-started in January, I just didn't feel I could stay committed if I didn't see a little faster progress, at least at first. I am fighting like crazy to try to lose 1-1/2 lbs a week. I'm being way more vigilant about keeping carbs really low--close to 20 instead of my previous "30-ish" that often crept close to 40. I'm keeping my eye on calories. I'm trying IF. My guess is that after a few months, I won't want to be so strict, and I'll slow down. But hopefully the momentum will keep me going long term.
I think one of the reasons this thread works is we're all losing roughly at the same pace. If we had someone here who was one of those "I lose 10 lbs every month! I love this WOE. It just melts off!" people, they'd win every time.
