Teaser - pork rinds. Haven't tried them. I just looked them up at Amazon to see what they were like. The look puffy and crunchy....hmmmmmmm Good idea for the future. Hopefully they aren't TOOOOOOOOOO good. LOL

They make a great crunchy cracker substitute. How dangerous they are depends mostly on what you put on them. I once had them with whipped cream and 90 percent chocolated melted in the microwave and then drizzled on. Not something I'd advise too often, but it gave me something to do while other people were eating s'mores.

Those Mac's BBQ pork rinds at Walmart are too good, especially with sour cream. Watch the total calories and check the expiration date -- fresher is better usually.

No-one can eat just one!

I personally find Pork Rinds disgusting.
My husband loves them.
I have tried a variety of brands and flavors....but nope no way!

Minniesoda, I agree! They're so greasy and they make whatever you eat them with taste like them. I tried cracklins instead of rinds but they are so hard they hurt my teeth, and every once in a while there's a soft spot that's like eating straight bacon grease. Blech!! 😵🤢

The pork rinds here don't seem greasy. They get greasy if I put them in the microwave. Maybe you're in a warmer clime?

I might be late here, because it sounds like you already hit the course, but I ran into this very issue yesterday. I'm flying out tomorrow morning and wanted some on plan food for the trip. I bought macadamia nuts, mixed nuts, mini beef sticks, and, after researching the non-refrigeration implication a bit, some Babybel cheese.

Also, there is something at kroger called Moon Cheese and it come in 3 flavors. Unfortunately, it's not yet available at our local Wal Mart.
