THIS GROUP follows ULTRA LOW CARB PLANS...of different types that stem from the teachings of DR ATKINS. We have TOTAL carbs and net carbs, and the Carb Nite has its roots in ATKINS as does every low carb plan. Although there are differences, this TEAM has already learned control and the importance of planning and tracking and weighing daily. We cannot live with out heads buried in the sand and with monitoring what we eat we can learn what works for us and when we need changes. COME JOIN US!

An itty bitty drop today! Soon I will get back to my all-time low. Got a lb to go to reach that goal.

I am still distrustful of my scale. I am going to hunt around the house today to see if I can find an extra battery. It would ease my mind.

KATHY - Congrats on your loss! Thank you, but I seriously doubt I could ever steal your title. I just have a lot of swelling to lose. have fun at your class and I hope there will be no snoring!

BARB - even with your upped cals, you still have steady even losses. If you are charting your losses with a line graph I bet it would show a nice even downward trend with very little in the way of spikes or stalls. You are lucky and the plan you are following works so well for you. I hope today shows another loss! But expect the unexpected! I love that.

CRICKY - I hope today finds you pain-free! And your great losses better hold for you today...NO MISS MUSHIE!

HIMI - I am hopeful you are back to a regular schedule and your scale shows a better reading for your today!

CHRISSIE - May you have whooshed away some of your debauchery this morning!

RAINS - I sure hope things are looking better for your Dad. My thoughts are with you.

Poor Pablo has not been doing well these past few days. He has not eaten in over a week and seems to be on his last days. He does not look sick - his fins are not clamped and he floats well. No signs of disease, but he is not coming to greet me any more and just hangs out behind the filter a lot. He is old and I know he will probably be gone very soon. And I have not seen Species 2.0 for a very long time. When he turned white, he disappeared. So soon I will have an empty tank. Sigh. Such tiny souls do not spend much time on our earth. At least they have a nice home while they are here.

Tuna salad and baked chicken for me today.

PAULETTIE~~~ You ARE such a good mommy to all these little beings. Both animal and vegetable . Poor Pablo. I have never known a beta to live this long.AND Species 2.0...interesting pet.. maybe CASPER is a good name too .. You can't have an empty tank to look at!
I would trust the scale as long as the numbers are reasonable and going DOWN I agree with the inches.. I try to just get around the rea and not pull..OMG if I did that with all this loose fluff I could be an for Victoria's Secret!!!

Started off the day early to feed the herd...so far so good. Got the top pastures done.. so far so good... went to drive around the triplex that houses the tack rooms and feed room etc.. have to go between the coroner of the building and a structure/swing... and felt a rub... OH NO!! there WAS a spigot coming up out of the ground on a plastic pipe there..WAS. rear wheel did not clear it and hoped I could back out.. nope.. tore it apart under the ground level.. nice geiser
Turned off the main breaker to that house since the dag nabit pipe was not connected to the off witch for the water tank outlet as it should have been done if the person that did that had one teeny brain cell. So, no power to that house until THursday when Carl is off again. Poor Carl not as if he does not have enough to do here! Left Jodi a message for when she gets off work.. OY! at least the horses are fed and I guess I help carry water buckets to the stalled and paddocked ones.. only 4 there.

HECK.. if not for bad luck I would have NO luck ! YIKES...forgot about the water troughs in the fields that need filling OMG that is a lot of pails !!! Could be worse... always could be worse

CHRISSIE>>> YEA FOR YOU!! You are getting really motivated for the next leg on your journey! NOW ... be aware that this is slower going sometimes and fast for others.There is NO USUAL here on CN. It all makes perfect sense and will work. I KNOW how you can be so please do not panic when things go differently on this plan WHAT it will do is allow your body to get the hormones again, it will allow you to have your CNs that will appease you and it is a way to live and maintian easily .Every week you have a great 8 hours of eating until you do not want to!!! SORRY but alcohol is still except for a very special occassion. and CN You will be happier on this.

KATHY... yes, we do not want to rock boats but higher carbs are a way of normal real world living so there does come a time when we have to add them. As POLLIE learned , it can be done without having and negative effect as long as we monitor it .It is not the Carb per se as much as the type of carb and where it came from. You are going to lose your 12 hr night shift buddy in June.. they are going 8 hr shifts and that sucks for her . She will not mind a normal sleeping pattern and will seek 3-11p giving her mornings to do her things before work.. better for that but harder for her show sched .
Time will tell.
She weighed in this morning but I do not know what it was

Next CN will be Mar.8th so i will hopefully show a reasonable weight after the water leaves for game Sundays. I will try to adjust the CN to correspond with this. I am doing 10 day intervals up to 2 weeks if I can stand it... there is a lot of leighway in this plan as well. 7 days is normal but can speed up weight loss by going longer I believe. I want to not really speed things up, but allow myself more time to regain normality of water gains from CN before having another. I think THAT makes sense to me for my needs. As far as i can tell, I am the oldest one doing this plan on the FB blog.Add that to a lot less activity and slower metabolism it makes more sense for me to do this adjustment. I do not recover as fast from water gains as most do, although this is doing fairly well this time around. I beleive there is a big benefit for me to do 99% Induction on other than CN, and then follow the protocol for CN 100% for best results there. Other wise it would be disaster time!

THIS GROUP follows ULTRA LOW CARB PLANS...of different types that stem from the teachings of DR ATKINS. We have TOTAL carbs and net carbs, and the Carb Nite has its roots in ATKINS as does every low carb plan. Although there are differences, this TEAM has already learned control and the importance of planning and tracking and weighing daily. We cannot live with out heads buried in the sand and with monitoring what we eat we can learn what works for us and when we need changes. COME JOIN US!

Good evening ladies..Well it looks like most of us are sharing a slide down the kiddie slide which beats climbing the big slide stairs any day!

Paulette I hope you reach that new low in the next few days.

Chrissie whoo hoo on your whoosh and getting closer to your pre-weekend weight.

Cricket I swear..."if it weren't for bad luck you'd have no luck" ...Poor Carl he will never finish his "honey-do" list in this lifetime lol

Jodi come on give it up....what's the verdict...inquiring minds want to know....yuck I hate 8 hour shifts...does that mean you will have to work minimum 5 days a week? YUCK!

Himi I hope you're having a nice day on the big girl slide...weeeeee

Barb we are having a nice sunny spring day on the kiddie slide...it's fun seeing all the little ones playing around us...oh to be young and carefree again....

HI GUYS CHRISSIE.. lost my post to you..cyber space is getting crowded..at any rate.. I am sorry FOR ME about the drinks!! I do miss my sweet mixed drinks on the rare occassion we went out now that Carl is on the wagon, I can't have any even if i were so inclined ( of course I would be) You sound like me after my first CN!!!

KATHY... 5 days a week and that equals less pay since the 12's were more one week and counted as OT so it was more than the loss of the few hours.. odd but true..her weight stayed the same better than a gain

HI BARB.. we are maybe doing the double deal again
