sorry ladies....out late weds night, had to report early to work thurs morning, board of ed meeting thursday night (who's this "ed" guy and why is he so boring ), called in early to work again this morning, etc etc etc. finally got a chance to settle down & read up on everybody

PAULETTE......i watch skin tight too, and my 600 lb life; i cry with them
i'm glad you were able to remain stable today. i know you want a loss, and i KNOW it will happen
i tested my ketones today also, which i haven't done in a VERY long time.....we are purple together

HIMI......-2 lbs over the last 2 days! way to go woman!!

Down a little today, but I'm still sliding so that's great!

Jodi: You've done awesome this week. It's great that you got right back on plan. You could have taken the unexpected death of your dad as an excuse to binge and eat off plan, but you are doing great!

Cricket: You got a lot accomplished today. Glad you are feeling back to normal except for the bruises! I do the stool softener thing when traveling so I don't get to the point that I have to take a laxative. But I know at some point that's not going to be enough.

Himi: You had another great loss today! During your periods of losing, you really lose! Hope you enjoyed your ride today!

Paulette: Hopefully, tomorrow will be the day on the slide! How's your weather? We are getting snow now, but we are just on the edge of the major storm. I think we're only supposed to get 1-3 inches. We've had snow on the ground since New Year's but it hasn't snowed a lot....just too cold for it to melt. I'm starting to agree with my husband relative to preferring to be somewhere warmer for the winters. Although, it's not too warm and dry down south right now either. I checked with my son in NC, but he's mostly getting rain. He's east of I-95.

Chrissie: Congrats on the 0.2 down. You may get more snow than us this time around. I think I watch every weight show there is. The Skin Tight has kind of made me realize I don't want to go through that surgery. It looks like 50 minutes of the show is pain and agony for the people and only at the end do you see the benefits of it. A little too scary to me. The one they have on ABC on Tursday nights...My Diet is Better Than Yours has people trying different diets and the guy who is doing the one that is closer to LC eating is showing the most loss and health benefits. But we all already knew that!

Kathy: Hope you are having a good day and see a loss!

Dang what a crazy busy week. I'm so glad i'm back to work and my normal routine. I'm really enjoying having 3 days off every week and not working over time but hey I miss the money for sure and my mom keeps coming up with things to help her with....oh well so it goes.... I was chosen as a wellness ambassador again this year at work so I had training today from 9am-3pm and now i'm at work 7pm-7am. I will get back on later and catch up for sure...last night I was just too tired and needed to try to sleep so I could do the training this morning....

Good evening ladies! I'm all read and caught up...

Cricket holy moly woman! Wow I don't know how you lose weight with all the disasters that seem to befall you. I'm so glad you're ok and were able to figure out the problem so this will be a never to be repeated event. Great job getting your errands, exercise and relaxing time accomplished today.

Barb yea! So glad you're still on the slide...hopefully you stay on the slide the next couple days and show an even better final loss for the week. You're so lucky to be seeing pretty snow...keep warm in all that loveliness

Chrissie I see you've had a busy week too..hopefully you get to relax now that the weekend is here....funny ever since I was little I purposefully "run with scissors" it's like a weird thing just to prove I can...I also still go outside with my hair wet-it even sometimes freezes to my head-but I have yet to get sick from doing so ha ha

Paulette no doubt you are climbing the stairs to the slide...once those hormones are done you're gonna fly down that slide so fast you'll get friction burns! I hope you got your mailer finished and can have a little down time this weekend.

Himi dang girl! You're flying down the slide yourself! You rock!I hope your drive went well and you got some yummy chicharones! Luckily we have them here in New Mexico everywhere...they even sell them on the streets like they do in Mexico...along with the mexican popsicle thingys

I am up .6 today. This is the last day on those hormones pills and my TOM is bursting at the seams, ready to explode! I sure hope I can lose this darn 1.4 plus at least one more by next week! Not really expecting a loss tomorrow, but it sure would be NICE.

KATHY - I'm glad you had some time to catch up and read things. My mailer went out this morning. Things were SO hectic last night, and I just could not stay up any longer. So I fully expect to relax today! I hope you can, too! Congrats on being chosen Ambassador again!!!! No one knows better than you do and you deserve it!

BARB - I never heard of the show My Diet is Better Than Yours - what channel is it on? I would like to see it! And we are getting a heat wave the next few days - it will get into the 30's! Some snow will come, but I don't think it will be too much. You are having a great week! I hope you can hit the 2 lb mark today!

HIMI - I agree with BARB! When you lose, you REALLY lose! Congrats on being 2 lbs down in a week, and I am sure you will surpass that these next 2 days! May the chicharrones treat you well!

CHRISSIE - A dang fine loss for you so far! You lost what I gained. I hope you were not too bored of Ed last night! That made me laugh way too much! Poor Ed. I hope your losses continue today!

CRICKET - I am hoping this morning finds you well and not in too much pain. You do have the worst of luck when it comes to things like that! May you show a loss today and take some swelling down. You should be an empty vessel now!

I have not given any thought to my menu today. I am thinking that a big tuna salad on spinach may work. Dinner???? Arg. Not sure what I want. I better decide now so I can take something out of the freezer. I have a little pack of riblets that may do the trick. I still need to weigh and figure the amounts and all that junk, but I will try to keep the cals below 1300 and carbs below 15. I'll chime in later and let you all know. Must stay accountable.

Hi Chrissie! Have a nice Mabel ride!

Today's menu will have the tuna spinach salad, and the pork riblets. Total calories will be 1200, and 17 carbs. I decided to have some broccoli with my riblets, and the carbs reflect that.

For some reason I am very very hungry right now and it is only 8:50 am! I am going to have my salad early!!!!

what a blizzard!! it's crazy out there, but i can't complain 'cuz it took this long for winter to finally arrive in north jersey
my friends south & southwest of me are getting it far worse than we are, which is weird 'cuz we are the ones that usually get it the worst

i had oopsie french toast for breakfast topped with butter & sprinkled with splenda/cinnamon mix
but i know that next time i only need ONE, not two.....i am so full right now
tonight i am finally having my cheeseburger on oopsies with LC ketchup
alot of oopsies for i day i know, but that's ok. calories will be a bit higher than usual, but that's okay too.....today's weather is perfect for allowed comfort foods

I am so sore from the gym and did not feel it yesterday at all!..did all leg work and that glider did me in
I whooshed and still am retaining water so who knows... what I did forget to mention last week was that Jodi did borrow my dress pants ( I have 2 pairs the same and wore one to Kerry's service) and they were tight on Jodi.. her legs are thinner but i was amazed that my tummy and tush are smaller and she is a lot lower in the numbers!!!So strange how this works!

I have given the Peep Jamie the basics and now wait for the questions and usual panic to set in before I invite her here. She is in her early 50's and did barrel racing in her younger days.She lives near me and her folks had bought berries here she said and live close as well. I see the same sadness in her eyes that we all have on our early pictures. Cannot wait to see them light up like all of your have
