Default Day 6 of 90 - Total consecutive days on plan 272

Busy day doing housework, ,laundry, errands, and grocery shopping. I spent most of the day on my feet. Didn't have much time to cook after breakfast so I kind of just nibbled on leftovers when ever I was hungry. Add up all the small meals and didn't eat any more than normal. I ate what I needed.

New low today. 121 pounds lost in 9 months.

Day 7

Weighed in this morning because I felt like it...291.4. -4.4, total 158.6. Yay!!!!

I didn't feel like eating much yesterday, I must be in ketosis (yay). I had 4 hot dogs with taco sauce and a bowl of HM chicken/veg soup.

I made 2 more batches of soup yesterday. My pots of soup are small - only about 3 big bowls per pot. I plan to eat soup for lunch and dinner - maybe I'll add some smoked sausage to dinner.

It's a good day to stay on play today!!!

LC hugs to my challenge buddies!

Thanks for all the props, everybody. I just keep plugging away one day at a time and this is where I'm at. That is what this challenge is all about.

Today was a good day for a Monday. Food was pretty much the same as usual. All "safe" on plan foods in the same ratios. I did have a small piece of LC pumpkin cheesecake with dinner tonight. I don't do "desert" often - but it is a nice change of pace every once in a while. It is nice to be able to have a treat and be satisfied with just a little bit.

I hope you all have a great week. Keep knocking out your "on plan" days one day at a time.

Default Day 4 of logging...

All logged and accounted for, although cals were much too high. I did some LC baking yesterday, trying out a new recipe for thanksgiving (mini pumpkin muffins) and a small batch of LC chocolate chip cookies. Bad mistake with the cookies. Muffins are OK but certainly not 'moreish' so those will be fine. As for the cookies.. just glad I made a small batch

Cals were high but carbs were OK.

B: Bacon burger with salad
L: 2x roasted chicken thighs
D: Creamy chicken, bacon and veg soup
S: a few too many lc choc chip cookies

So lesson learned yesterday: Don't bake chocolate chip cookies. I don't do a lot of baking as I don't really have a sweet tooth anymore. Not sure what prompted it yesterday beside the fact I made them! I honestly thought that my "not being able to control my food intake" was a thing of the past. Obviously not *sigh*. At least it was LC and I learned a valuable lesson: I am still an addict and must be cautious even if it is LC!

I will be checking in late tomorrow as off to Liverpool this morning to visit the MIL for an overnighter.

Have a good "stay on plan" day everyone, x

Day 12, yesterday's food: 4 slices LC peanut butter cheesecake bars, cream.

I had 2 bars (or pieces) for lunch and had intended to have a proper dinner, but by the time to cook was really exhausted so just had another 2 pieces for dinner. Not the best choice, but still on plan. Also was impressed that the peanut butter cheesecake bars are so rich and full of fat and protein, that two is the maximum I could eat in one sitting - they appear to be binge proof which is good news.

Day 9 for me day 8 was a bad day with a weight gain for no reason! I am over it today and will only weigh in weekly on Sunday.
My plan is to eat clean and chart it in fitday!

It is great to have this group!! As Jess said Hugs to all !!

Thank you so much for sharing this. Its a very powerful lesson to learn and learn we must or we'll keep making this error in judgment over and over.

I'm going to tell you my own opinion on these low carb treats, they can be very dangerous. I don't eat them and I don't make them. It wakes up that sweet tooth and we don't need for that to happen.

When I did my first 90 days challenge, my abstinence was 'no sugar, no flour of any kind and no wheat'. It was the start of my education of foods that I needed to steer clear of. Think, white flour favorites as that was my poison. I haven't had pizza, bagels or pasta in years now.

A square of really dark chocolate can satisfy an urge and its easy to stop. I also find the no sugar added fudgsicles as a treat in the evening.
