Ditto. I try to avoid Walmart at all costs, but I did go there to buy these. (Walmart shortly before Xmas, UGH. why did they have to introduce these at a time when I try to avoid ALL stores, not merely Walmart?). However I think they are supposed to have a wider distribution starting next month. I hope they show up in my regular supermarket.

I had to do a roll out of bed and run to work the other day, so missed breakfast. I need breakfast in the morning not only to start my day off, but also because I take meds in the morning and can't do it on an empty stomach.

I tried the chirizo scramble. It didn't smell that great, but it was decent tasting. The net carbs seemed high, but I was extremely glad to have an alternative to grabbing a day break bar, which I don't care for, or having to go off plan.

With the low carb "fad" over and most low carb products no longer on the shelves, I'm glad there is still some choices out there. No, it's not healthy for an all the time thing but for emergencies I think it's a great product to have available.

I don't think your hunger was caused by the little amount of carbs but rather lack of other nutrients (maily protein which is most sating and fat, too). I never tried Atkins frozen meals but tried other products and all caused either stalling or cravings(( I rather eat nuts in case of emergency

This is about Atkins products and it's quite interesting (it's about how net carbs are calculated and may actually be wrong): http://www.mendosa.com/netcarbs.htm

I absolutly love these!
Great for when there's no time to cook and to take to work. I like the convevience, portion control (keeps me honest), and the fact that they are not filled with carby fillers like potatoes, rice and pasta like every other so called "diet" frozen meals out there.
I love to cook but these are really handy to have around. And they are delicious! So thankful these are available to give me an extra tool or weapon to help me fight this battle of obesity.

Does anyone know if they sell them in Canada too? I would love to have a few in the freezer for our once-a-month pizza-days (hubby does not do LC and the kids love pizza).

According to a PR release from atkins.com, they're available at Walmart stores in the US only.

I use the Atkins frozen meals as my emergency or I-don't-want-to-cook meals. I used to run to a fast food place so it would be a sure bet that the frozen meals are a better alternative. I add some Miracle Noodles to them to make them more filling. I like them - the Beef with Merlot sauce is especially good.

I think they are very tasty, on nights bf works late they are a treat and I don't have to cook after working all day.

Here in central Ohio, I've seen them at Kroger, Giant Eagle and Meijer. I'm thinking I may be mixing in one of these for lunch two or three times a week. I usually have salad, but it's nice to have a hot meal for lunch from time to time.
