Morning all

it really is a pleasure to talk to people with similar interests. The first time I tried Atkins, there was such a negative vibe. The founders of this forum should be proud that they have helped and assisted so many people to turn that negative perception around into such a positive one..

Down .7kg since last Friday's weigh in, whoo hoo

Last night, I tried this and it was really good

I took a small pork fillet, cut slices along the length two thirds through. Into this I put some thin slices of Chourico, a Portuguese sausage, drizzled with olive oil and cooked 15 mins at 220C and then grilled for 5 mins.

I took the rest of the Chourico and some Haloumi cheese, cubed and sliced and tossed in a pan with some Italian herb paste until browned well.

I made a bed of shredded lettuce, some Mayo on top of that, the pork fillet on top and then the Chourico and Haloumi spread around the plate.

looked like restaurant quality, sorry, we all ate it before I managed to get a pic, will try next time.

Cheers.

Hi all

really bad week this week, 2 funerals I had to attend.

Any way, another .3 down on last weigh in and really feeling a lot better than carrying the extra weight. People actually do notice when you lose that few KG's and start to comment.

Keep well all.

heeeelp, weekly weigh in and minimal loss, like 100 gms. That's not the problem.

MY PANTS ARE FALLING OFF ME My belt is on the last hole and my pants literally fell down the other night when I stretched to a tall cupboard. The family rolled around laughing and the discussion turned around to maybe, just maybe there is something to this low carbing thing after all.

Got the promise of a new belt though. HA HA

It's funny how sometimes the scale won't show much of a loss but you can really notice that your clothes are getting too loose. Congratulations on needing a smaller size!
