Thanks, GL. I shuddered when I read "hydrochloric acid," but I will certainly take the necessary precautions and start light, as you suggest. I still recall my ex-husband getting a small drop on him in chem lab. It ran down his wrist and, even though he quickly rinsed it off, left a horrible scar that I'm sure he still has.
