Friday 4-May-12:
~90 minutes of walking today, broken up as follows: - 70 minutes of a walk, during which my pedometer registered 6672 steps (got a free one from walgreen's, new toy, wth, right?)
- 15 minutes wandering around Costco while my neighbor and his kids did their shopping
- 5 minutes walking around my grocery store doing that shopping
I should have taken the pedometer with me on the errands. I want to see if I can get up to 10,000 steps, and what that feels like. Or if I can get up to 15,412 which is the number I remember someone saying that Amish people averaged. Or just see how many I do and if it's something that's at all fun to track. hehe
I have fallen out of the gym habit. The only way to get back into the habit is to go. Dad is such an unreliable gym partner that, really, he's not a gym partner at all. Which is actually fine, because I prefer going by myself. But now I have inertia again. Well, it happens, and it's in the past, so the present and immediate future need to be about getting back there, regularly.
