Default Quest Bars

Any thoughts on these..they do seem to have better ingredients than most LC bars..

They're hard to chew, but not all that bad. I took them on my last trip, they did the job, I just don't like the amount of chewing involved.

I like them. Problem is (for me) - as far as I can tell you can only buy online like 12 or so bars at a time. I basically ate the whole box in a couple days. Not good! I can't keep that stuff in the house. But I didn't gain weight from it I don't think? But still. Made me crave more sugary treats.

Edit: Just checked out the site you posted - looks like you can buy one bar at a time? That might work for me.

They are kinda bleh to me-not great but not entirely horrible either. Not worth the price or shipping to me.

I got a free sample of each flavor from their website. They're very chewy, like PowerBars, if you've ever had those. I didn't like the texture, but that's a personal preference. The actual flavor wasn't bad (either one).

I ordered a box of Peanut Butter Quest Bars a few weeks ago and read somewhere that if you heat it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds, it would be very tasty, and I have to agree.

My only issue with Quest Bars is that while it's a great product, it's still too expensive for me to keep buying, like Atkins bars.

I just got my free sample which had a vanilla and a chocolate. Not a huge fan of vanilla but OH. MY. GOD. Chocolate is intense after a quick microwave.

Great label, I think Im sold.

These are the only bars I eat now. I like the peanut butter and jelly and the brownie flavors.

Thumbs up Extend Bar tastes and works better.

I have tried Quest and dozens of other bars, but I keep coming back to Extend Bars. Extend Bars are not only low carb, but actually help control blood sugar for up to 9 hours which is exactly why we all eat low carb. They help control my appetite and they taste great. I recommend that you give these a shot next time you are reaching out for a new bar. They also have all kinds of crunchy snacks and shake mixes too - so if you like the bars, you can try their other products. Their Drizzles are the bomb.

If you're counting carbs, the Extend bars aren't all that low, really. Most still have around 10+ net carbs per bar (and that's if you subtract all sugar alcohols, which not everyone does). I've tried them before, and they're okay, but too much soy for my personal liking, and not worth the carbs.

I got a couple samples in the mail the other day. I liked both of them. Did not try nuking either one of the samples. Nice and chewy. A little gritty. No intestinal distress from the fiber. I put brief reviews of both of the sample flavors on my blog.

It uses something called Isomalto-Oligosaccharide (IMO) as the fiber. What little I could find on it suggests IMO is also a sweetener. These bars are pretty sweet with three different sweeteners in the ones I tried.

They are not as low in carbs as I would like if I was going to eat several a day. The different flavors range from 2-6 net carbs per bar.

I just ordered a box - bars sure are expensive - and can't wait to try them.

I just finished a box of the Cinnamon Roll and I really like them. Very filling - I'm not tempted to eat more than one a day...unlike the stupid Atkins bars!! grrrrrrrr!
