Ah so about the same as me then. I was going to make this a short round, but the closer I get to under 200 the longer I wanna go to make sure I get there....we shall see where I am at the end of 3 weeks and how I am mentally.

Well, today is day 31 of VLCD and I'm only down 0.2. I'm going to stick it out until May 14 due to budgetary concerns (It's a lot cheaper to eat 500 calories a day than 3000! LOL) but I'm really growing tired of the slow losses and foods without fat

Today is the end of week 4 - VLCD28 and my loss for this week is 4.6lbs / total loss of 19.3lbs.

I'm off to do my measurements, I already know that all my bras are looser and my pants are all fitting looser this week, I'm not too far off dropping another size I think. Gives me more motivation to stay on for longer than 40 days!

Down 1.6lbs today bringing me back to where I was before my salt-induced gain yesterday. Onward to new territory tomorrow, I hope. I'd like to see a 1lb loss since I haven't seen one in a while (not including water ups and downs)

Hi y'all!! I am new to this thread but no where new to hcg LOL. I am on my 7th round and on VLCD#5. I am down 9.4 lbs which is great!! I have lost all I NEEDED to in 3 rounds, but if I had done P4 properly I would not be here doing this again. Well, that and my DD getting type 1 diabetes a month ago didn't help. I got so thrown off track with her being in the hospital and all the "Stuff" that accompanies a child being diagnosed with something that has to be monitored for every single day of the rest of her life. What a responsibility. Anyway, I am so glad to be taking off the weight I have gained in the last month.

Y'all are doing so great!!! I am hoping I can join in with you guys. You may recognize me from other hcg boards I am on. My user name is the same on every one I visit. Nice to see a few familiar names already!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Why not stay in P3 forever like most of us are doing? I think bringing back the carbs is just asking for it.

And hello to you!

I'm sorry about your daughter. Low carb will be good for her too!

Thanks Nancy!! I am thinking after all my attempts at this stabilizing thing that I will get the hang of it someday. I also think I might either have to extend my P3 to stabilize better or just give upon P4. I am not sure and have not decided yet. But would like to have an treat on occasion because my whole family (there are 6 of us here at home til me eldest graduates from high school in 3 years) enjoys them. So we have a bunch of non-low carb stuff around. But we shall see. I have a while to think about it. And like I said, at least now I have a low carb buddy in my DD!! I was just reading how low carb helps the brain and alzheimers so knowing that horrible disease is in my genes, it is all clicking for me. If I want to stay healthy, and not just in weight, then I think low carb is the way to go. It is slowly sinking in LOL.

You can have a treat every now and then, but I think bringing back the carbs completely is probably doomed to failure. It's how we got fat in the first place.
