Default Paleolithic diet again found to bring rapid health-related benefits

From Dr Briffa's blog:

Paleolithic diet again found to bring rapid health-related benefits

In May of last year I wrote about a study which tested the effects of a so-called paleolithic diet – a diet based on the foods eaten prior to about 10,000 years when it’s believed some of our ancestors converted from being to hunger-gatherers to agriculturalists. The paleolithic diet is one which contains ‘primal’ foods such as meat, vegetables, fruit and nuts, but is devoid of nutritional newcomers like refined sugar, grain-based foods, dairy products and legumes (beans and lentils).

Reminds me of the movie "10,000 Years B.C" where they started out good-- hunting woolly mammoth and ended becoming dirt farmers with a handful of seeds

I told a friend that was the dawn of diabetes.

Reading the article about natural foods, I remembered the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth asked me what I did since the usual tarter buildup was almost gone this time around. I told her I basicaly eat all meat diet now.

Even my dog has never required teeth cleaning after I stopped feeding commercial pet food. Six year old teeth look like those of a puppy, hip and scruffy coat problems have vanished as well. It all kinda goes to show this works
