Hi Kisal! Meeting for coffee sounds like a great idea! I would love to actually spend time with people who understand my WOE; when I tell most people that I'm doing Atkins, they look at me like I just announced that I was going on a diet consisting solely of puppies and kittens .

Hello, Drbrat423! I love seeing more Oregonians chime in here!

Cool, it's great to see someone else on the board just a stone throw away. I'm over in the Thurston area in Springfield. But I have lived Eugene too a few times. I would love to get together sometime. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I love tea

Great! It'll have to be in Eugene, because I don't drive anymore. Is that okay with you? Do you have a favorite coffee shop or restaurant in Eugene?

Hi all, Hillsboro guy here starting LC a couple of weeks ago with Wife after reading GCBC. We're not on any strict plan, close to Atkins I'd say. Reading PP and liking their more thorough descriptions. I'm looking into targeted keto, Paleo for Athletes info, as I climb and hike. Looking to tick off the Cascade Volcanos! I'll be posting a diary. Any climbers out there shoot me message!

Howdy! Been spending a good bit of time in Portland. Where can I find some pork rinds? Fred Meyer doesn't seem to have any, nor Safeway.

Ok, guess I just didn't see them the last time I was in Fred Meyer, because they did have 'em yesterday.

Hey Oregonians, there's a new Meetup group focused on Paleo nutrition, first meeting is this Saturday in Portland. Check it out, I should be there with the family.

I didn't even know there was a thread.

I saw the thread by accident because there was a new post and it was on the main-page.

I know their are some people in Eugene--and I know someone on the forum moving from Texas to Eugene in the next few weeks.

I'll go see if I can find OregonRose.

Oh! Florence here! On the beautiful Oregon coast.

Lisa

Eugene, here!

Unfortunately, I no longer drive, so I can't come see you all in Portland.

Watched the last quarter of the Oregon vs. Auburn Championship football game. It was a good game: deciding play of the game was in the last 2 seconds, with the score tied 19-19. !! Auburn went for a field goal and it was all over. Damn, I was so disappointed! But Love Those Ducks! I am now a huge fan and can't wait for next season. I might even go down to Eugene to watch a game or two, even tho it's a long drive from PDX.
