I've lived all over NJ, but currently I'm residing in Virginia. Hubby's job may move us back though!

I'm here too - but in the north west - the border of Morris/Warren County... good luck to everyone! Does anyone still post here?!

Some of us are still active here on the boards, but there really is little activity here in this "New Jersey" topic.

Thanks for the update on the lack of posting here - I'm new to the forum, so I'm just trying to click around and see where I might find my nitch!

Graduated from Somerville High School (Somerset County) and lived in Newton/Sussex for about 10 years, but now am living and working in Arizona. Me and DH (born and raised in Clifton) miss pork roll and (pre-LC) good bagels. Can't get 'em out here.

Hi,
Shelby from Colts Neck, Monmouth County.
Thanks for the tip, I will definitely be visiting Steves drugs.
I am currently doing induction, but have yet to acheive ketosis. Too many carbs, I suppose?!?,,,although I eat only meat, fish, chicken, eggs, veggies & occasionally sugar free jello.
I wish there was an Atkins diet center, or even better, an Atkins Spa.! I would definitely go there for a week or two and learn all I could.
I really do need a mentor!

Colts Neck! I can only say two words, "Delicious Orchards". My dad used to love the pies from there - not exactly LC of course, but my parents were both carboholics. I was there not too long ago when I went to have lunch with a friend who lives in Freehold. It was fun to walk around the store again, but not a lot of choices for someone on a LC eating plan - maybe some of their interesting cheeses.

Just jumping into this Jersey thread to say Hi. I live in Carteret right now, but moving to Yardville (Hamilton) next month, and I work in Princeton.

I'm really looking forward to going to the West Windsor Farmer's Market on Saturdays once I'm down there. I checked, and in addition to the veggies, fruits, eggs, cheeses, etc., there are also 3 farmers selling MEAT there, too! Woo hoo!

Yeah, good farmer's markets are awesome. I go to the one in Montclair, which also has meat vendors, and fresh-catch fish from the Jersey shore also.

Hi, grew up in Somerset County. Now living in Arizona.

I was back East last week to attend my nephew's high school graduation, and the humidity almost killed me. LOL. Right now we are at around 3-5% humidity in Arizona (but daytime highs of 115 degrees, so nothing to be jealous of, believe me).

I am ashamed to say that I ate ALL of my favorite foods last week -- from shoo-fly pie in PA to a dirty water dog in NYC. I gained 8 pounds and re-started induction last Sunday. Shame on me.
