Grilled chicken topped with jack cheese, a mixed baby green salad with greens, a little red onion, sliced grape tomatoes, feta cheese, kalamata olives, evoo and balsamic. Half an avocado sliced, crisped bacon and sauteed onions and mushrooms.
Tonight was Venison parsley meatballs with a green cream curry sauce, served over shredded stir fried red cabbage. Iced white tea with lemon, and strawberries with sweetened sour cream.
[FONT=Garamond]Grilled catfish and veggies sounds light and much better than the steaks and ribs I have been eating the past few days. Is there anything one might add to make my meal more filling?
Or can someone recommend a snack I could follow it up with? I have started induction before and lost 15lbs in 2 weeks. Now, I am not so sure I remember how.

To make your meal more filling I would suggest butter, butter, & more butter.
Especially if you are grilling your meat or steaming your veggies, definitely want some fat to go along with that.
As for me, I'm having shrimp sauteed in butter along with some cabbage cooked in butter. I have been on a cabbage binge this week. I used to hate cabbage.

Also twice baked cauliflower (karen barnaby's recipe), and basic side spinach salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing with a few grape tomatoes, and some lemonade made with artificial sweetener.
