I love the new pedometer! Hubby did good.

By SportLine/Walking Advantage $18 at Academy Sports & Outdoors.

We checked my stride 3X to make sure we set it up right.

It's right on track.

Went ahead and walked ZuZu a few times around our complex and did close to half a mile!

960 steps burned 30 cals.

Walked 1.2 ml/2,865 steps/76 cals burned
{It would have been more if I walked briskly but it's so humid/warm! 80* here..
I just didn't have it in me since it's so dern humid!}

The mountain was hard again bc of the weather..I think I would have done it easier this time if it was cooler..lol

how pretty! I would love to be able to walk somewhere like that. Our nearest park is 6 miles away. It is nice, but we would have to load up and take bikes for kids. We plan on doing that soon. Does ZuZu chase the ducks? I know my dogs would. They would pull me into the water chasing them. We have a Boxer and a Siberian Husky (I know, it should be against the law to own a husky in the south!)

ZuZu just looks at the ducks but chases all the birds..lol

Wouldn't it be awesome if you were close by?

We could go together.

We spend a lot of time there in the spring/summer fishing, pick-nicking, and walking. We just love it! Only takes 7 minutes to walk there.

BTW, you're so beautiful! Love the new pic!

That would be cool. We could be walking buddies. It would be nice not to have to drive to get to somewhere like that. It takes us 3 hours to get to Tx.

Your hubby working tonight? Mine is...gonna be a long night of insomnia. I sleep terribly when he is not here.

Thanks for the comp. That brightened my day.

Yer welcome!

Yep, hubby won't be off again until Sunday..

He works at HUGE Printing Co. and works a mile long machine that binds magazines together. {He's a Stitcher Operator w/his own crew.}

They do Entertainment Weekly, Sports Ill. for Kids, a lot of major mags.

Hope you can get some sleep!

Yeah!! I just finished doing Pilates! I think the hardest part about exercising, (walking or pilates) is the procratination itself. I find once I finally do it, if feel great and it was acutally fun! Gosh, I can really tell the pilates is working! I am able to do them with more ease. my hubby actually complimented my abs to day when he hugged me from behind. I'm like where? honey, thats just flab rolls! I can see right now, I am going to have a problem with him! I was 155 when we married, he wont know what to do if I get to 120. He still hasn't a clue what I weigh. I told him I could never break the solemn vow of wife silence, I would betray women everywhere.

That's how I talk to my hubby..

Bless his heart..I know he loves me and still finds me attractive, but deep inside I'm sure he's hoping I can get this weight off! lol

He can't stand that I'm so hard on myself as well.

I'm tryin' to watch that. It really upsets him.

I agree RE: procrastination! Once I'm done I feel awesome.

ZuZu's so funny, she just hopped in chair next to me like, excuse me mother but please pet me. She's such an attention hog.

She sure does keep me company at night!

we need to learn not to beat ourselves up so much. I don't know how though. I know they deserve better than that. I am so modest and self consious about myself around hubby. I always have said that would get better when I lose weight, but will it? who knows?
