Default Research funded by beverage industry likely to be tainted.

Thought this might be of interest!
Research funded by beverage industry is biased

Confused by conflicting advice on nutrition and health? Then try ignoring any conclusions backed by the beverage industry. Corporate funding of research into non-alcoholic drinks biases findings in favour of manufacturers’ products, a new study has found.

Ok, but who funded the study of the studies? Hmmmm?

I wonder why they just focused on the beverage industry. They would probably find the same with any other industry.

I guess I should have actually clicked on the link where they compared the beverage industry to the drug industry.

Great post, BTW.

Dr. Briffa's blog has another article about this, comparing any industry funded study with ones that weren't. Basically, if an industry funded it, there's likely to be a postive outcome. What happens to non-positive outcomes?
