I get crazy at the "whoel grains" thing. No wheat!!! I probably shouldn't have had it for many years before I was finally taken off of all the processed wheat junk!!!

And who says LC is devoid of fruits and vegs or that we focus only protein intake??? I make a pan-seared chicken spinach salad that is great!! When I couldn't get my spinach last year, I bought red-leaf lettuce instead. It's nice to take as lunch! And it usually has a fresh blueberry balsamic HOMEMADE dressing on it, just a punch of flavor!! SHEESH!! It's something I constantly do battle with - people who don't understand what LC actually means. It's not all about bacon and eggs and coffee. Gee, I have grits once in a while! OOoooo...but about putting together the RIGHT kind of carbs that are better for you like....HHHMMM....unprocessed fruits and veges?!?!??!
