I went out for a birthday dinner and when the waitress (thinking she was being nice) brought me my FAVOURITE dessert, the one I have EVERY year on my birthday, with a huge sparkler in it I feigned being very grateful, but ooooh too stuffed to eat it. We brought it home and my hubby ate it.
He was very impressed with my commitment. Said he was proud of me.
That was the best birthday gift ever! (from him, and from myself)

I'm celebrating one of the most positive and uplifting threads! Made my whole day, LCers. Thanks for that.

And I finally broke 138. Down to 134!

I took some fat clothes to the Salvation Army and bought two pair of name brand jeans for $3.50 (both) and a nice pair of shorts for $0.50 in size 14 and they FIT me! Yeah!

Sunny!

Finally got into the 160's! Also, I purchased a pair of pants two summers ago that were a 14 that I could never fit into. Well, I am wearing them right now! No elastic....real button and zipper! (Now just explain why I have a size 20 that's sorta tight?) Anyway.....I'm proud. I've not been able to wear a 14 since I was.....14.

You can't really pay much attention to the sizes. I took a pair of 18's to donate months ago, because they would fall off when I tried to walk. I am still wearing a pair of 20's--same brand!--five months later! They are finally too big, but they don't fall off--still. I have size 16's that fit and some that I can't even get on my body. Yesterday, I bought three pairs of 14's that fit nicely. Who knows?

Congrats of getting in the 14's!

Sunny!

Sunny!

I stick mostly with one brand. That way I know what will fit without trying it on! I can wear anything between a 6 and a 10 depending on the cut. I have a pair of 6s that's larger than a pair of size 8s. I can wear the 6s; I can't wear the 8s. Go figure.

I walked around the lake on Friday. Long walk! Whew!

Saturday was Sabbath so after church I came home and did...absolutely nothing, lol!

Today I went to the gym and then walked to work from the train station since my gym time was so limited.
