mmm.......Whiting Florentina
This is an great easy meal idea for Whiting Florentina..for the Family!
1 pound of whiting fillets,fully thawed (about 4 fillets)
Florentina Sauce
3 tablespoons butter
3tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 pound spinach cooked and drained
1/2 cup grated permesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter for the topping
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir with wire whisk until blended. In another pan,heat milk and cream to boiling and add all at once to butter and nutmeg. Put Spinch in the empty pot and add 1/2 of the sauce. Heat, but do not boil. Spoon in dish and arrange fish on top. Stir half of the cheese into the remailing sauce and spoon over the fillets. Sprinkle with leftover cheese. Dot with butter. Bake for 10 minutes or until heated through.
