Default Shirataki noodles

I just tried those shirataki noodles everyone was talking about and oh my, they are the best! And this is coming from an Italian
All you have to do is rinse them under water to get the smell off and make your favorite sauce mix & together and enjoy the carb life.

Hey guys,

Notice any shift in your weight after eating the noodles? I imagine not, but just want to make sure.

CrysAnne: This is the first time I'm eating these noodles and if I gain I'll be disappointed. I try too hard to screw up. I'll check in tomorrow to let you know if I gained.

I got the noodles at an Asian market in their refrigerated section. It had 2 carbs for the whole thing. You have to rinse them really well then add your favorite sauce. I made alfredo sauce for them and I didn't want to share. You must try it at least once.

What else did you eat/drink?
Did you slack on your water?
Did you increase your exercise?
Is it anywhere near your 'time of the month'?
Have you had a bowel movement lately?

Any of the above can affect our weight on a day to day basis!!

Elizellen:
Breakfast- 2 poached eggs, 4oz smoked sausage & 2 cups coffee and 1 glass water.
Lunch- Shirataki noodles with 2oz heavy cream, 2 Tbsp.butter & 2 Tbsp grated cheese. 2 glasses water.
Dinner- 6 oz. Salmon 1.5 cups broccoli with 3 Tbsp. butter to dip. 3 glasses water. Not much exercise. Small bowel movement.
I know I should be drinking more water. I'm going to try to drink more starting today. I'm back down to 152. Yesterday I ate Breakfast-2 poached eggs, 6 slices bacon, 3 cups coffee
Lunch- 5 oz talapia, 1.5 cups broccoli 2 Tbsp. butter & 1 water
Dinner- Caesar salad with 1 carb dressing, 2 diet pepsi & 3 water.

I am addicted myself!! Had some with alfredo sauce and I believe I've found a new permanent alternative to HC noodles!

LBelfiore, your menu looks fine to me, though if the bacon and smoked sausage had a lot of sodium it might be making you retain water.

I have had the noodles twice this week with no gain in weight, but it might be one of those YMMV thngs and they do affect your body that way!

Elizellen: I though it was the sodium in the bacon or sausage. I'll have to watch that. I still as of today haven't lost. I'm still 152. I'm trying to add more veggies into my diet plus I added some unsalted almonds. I'm careful with the amount. Only up to 22. I hope I get another loss to motivate me. But like I had said on other posts, "Im in this for life." Thanks for your help.
