Thanks for coming by!

Pictured Rocks is a Beautiful area. I have not been up that way with a bike but have ridden some around Marquette (asphalt and trail) and Manistique. Lots of beautiful rides in N.E. Wis and the U.P. I am going to spend more time closer to home and ride the Cedar and Days River Trails more this year and see what I can find in the area between here and Green Bay Wis.
Not on Bike Journal (yet) and I have my Giant Sedona in the trainer. That is my commuter/grocery getter/recreational bike. I will be picking up a Seek 1 this year for more serious road rides/century rides etc.. And I have a Trance 2 sittin in the basement for the real scenic stuff....
29 is a bit nippy, but I have ridden then too, as long as there is no ice or road salt....
My Sedona in the Trainer
My Trance (last fall ride 2009)
The real scenic stuff (on my old Rainier)
BTW, I wonder what you think about the following thought - anyone serious about mountain biking, road biking or just riding a bike in general should join up with a bike club.
I joined the local club last year and am glad I did! the owner of the local shop was instrumental in my getting into a club. I also am going to lead a weekly ride around town this year for him. Every Thursday night we have a group ride for all ages. We are splitting that in 2 groups so those who are more leisurely with their riding do not feel alienated by those of us who ride at a blistering pace of 10 mph....
I suspect I am going to lead the "drop a gear and hammer it" group....
