What food(s) tempt you the most? Whether they be foods that you are trying to avoid or foods that you can eat on whatever plan you follow but still tend to overindulge...what's your weakness?

Master Choice Lasagna. I could eat one of those every meal and not mind lol. A whopping 1kg each! Good for an Italian boy like myself

Also, Doritos. Sweet sweet Doritos.

Chocolate cake. You know the kind...... 2 inches cake, 1 inch icing made with butter and icing sugar.

Apple or peach or huckleberry pie.

Anymore than a small piece of the aformentioned and I become an insatiable freaking carbo-addict. Mean and surly to anyone who would dare question my desire to eat the whole thing, as I gorge myself into a glucose stupor. Laying on the couch, belly hurting, head pounding and feeling the desperate low of coming off a sugar high. As my eye catches the fridge where there might be some ice cream in the freezer and some chocolate sauce to try and quell the monster I've created!!!

o lordy!!!1 the thing that gets me off track is ALWAYS a good italian meal (spaghetti, linguine. lasagne, manicotti) deluged in a good marinara. And if i get that far, i always have the garlic bread and wine on the side.. its a sad sick obsession for me......... as long as i DONT have the italian thing in my head, i am good to go, sugar holds no power over me.. ITS STARCH and thenn KABLOOOOOOOOIE goes my blood sugar and will power for the whole WEEK!

My weaknesses USED to be popcorn and really good pizza (no fakey nasty stuff). I say used to be because I still make popcorn on movie night, still have pizza in the house for the family (3 boys) and I haven't eaten it the last few times..yeah me! Other temptations I just don't have around, like Japanese or Chinese food to name a couple. I find I really don't have urges to cheat, because I know I am only cheating myself. I'd rather see results and feel good about myself all day than feel good for the moment I eat and then bad for short while afterward.

Sugar is my weakness- particularly ice-cream, candy, and sweet rolls.

One bite and I'm gone.

My son's left over chocolate birthday cake that is sitting on the counter. His birthday was Saturday and since we brought it home from the party I just stare at it. Haven't touched it. I will be SO glad when it is gone and out of the house!

Liddie....my daughters party was on Saturday too...her birthday is today. I divided up the cake between the guests and sent it home with them so it wouldn't be such a temptation...there are however a couple of chocolate cupcakes left that I'm trying to avoid staring at...lol.

sighs..

Chinese Food < avoid like the plague>

Chocolate < try to keep it in legal forms >

Most things can be "adapted and improvised " to get close enough to the real thing to fool the mind/body and Im VERY thankful for this !
