barbara, i'm asking for advice and support. no need to sound cynical and bring me down. i remember you telling me that this is not a fad diet and that it has to be a way of life. well i'm back, and i do believe that is what my post said. so actually, this time, i am serious. other people in this forum have a hard time with induction too and find themselves eating low carb processed foods in order to beat the cravings.

anyways, (to others) how do you beat the cravings? it seems like this time around, all i want is the sugary low carb stuff. i've been eating the meat and vegetable portions as said in the book, but the snacking is what is getting to me. any suggestions?

I still stand by my original advice. Follow induction EXACTLY for two weeks, and you'll find that cravings diminish. But you really have to bite the bullet (and nothing else) to get past the temporary need for the foods that contribute to cravings.

Sorry I sounded cynical. I'm trying to be honest with you, to address your difficulty.

im taking your advice and being strict with the diet. yesterday was the first day of that. lets see how it goes.

hi there
i have only started 2 days ago but i congratulate you on your weight loss! the only result i see on me at the moment is clearer skin because i havent had sugar in the last couple of days so somethingis working at least, i lost about 1kg over the last couple of days because i havent eaten pastas and carbs and my boyfriend has been helping me
