This is a tasty breakfast dish that my family makes every Christmas Eve for Christmas morning. It's going to be a more LC friendly version this year. The original recipe called for regular bread and milk.

8 or 9 slices of LC Bread
2 450g (16 oz) packages of cheese, shredded (we use marble)
400g (14 oz) shaved ham
7 eggs (beaten)
2 cups LC milk or half and half, or about 1 cup heavy cream mixed with 1 cup water

Arrange bread slices in bottom of 2 greased 13x9 baking pans. Sprinkle with ¼ of the cheese. Layer ham on top. Top with remaining cheese. Mix eggs with milk and pour over top. Cover with plastic wrap, refridgerate over night. Bake for one hour at 325 degrees while everyone opens their presents.

My family has been making a regular version of this with for years. They use breakfast sausage instead of ham, and I think the bread is cubed up, not placed whole in the bottom of the pan.

Sounds delish. I'm sure they wouldn't even notice that LC bread was substituted.
