Talking Best Southern Fried Chicken Ever!!!

Southern Fried Chicken

2 eggs
1 cup Texas Pete hot sauce
1/3 cup water

8 pieces of chicken (dark or white)
1 1/2 cups vital wheat gluten
1 t. pepper

salt, pepper, garlic seasonings to taste
peanut oil

Heat oil in pan or preferrably a deep fryer. Combine eggs, hot sauce and water in bowl and whisk. In a separate bowl season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic to your liking. In yet another bowl combine vital wheat gluten and pepper. Dip the chicken one at a time into into egg mixture, and then into the gluten mixture. You should use just enough gluten to lightly coat the chicken. Fry white meat for 8-10 min. and dark meat for 13-15 min. Gluten will crisp up to give you authentic looking and tasting southern fried chicken!!!

Also makes great wingettes with lo-carb ranch dressing! Enjoy!!!

sounds good and sounds like definate Southern Fried chicken, it's like Paula Deen's subbing the flour for soy. I know I have used soy flour instead of slour and it is just like the real thing. Thanks for this recipe!!!
