Wow Anita! thats some powerful prayer magick you got goin on there!
We can stand down the alert, my grandmother is doing much better.
To give you a little more information about what was going on here is the story.
Some years ago my grandmother was diagnosed with a very rare disease called Sweet's Syndrome. The short explanation for this syndrome is a skin disorder characterized by fever, inflammation of the joints and sudden onset of a rash. These are the MINOR symptoms caused by this disease. People with this often suffer from pneumonia, severe pain, inflammation, heart and lung diseases and can be caused by an underlying undiagnosed malignancy usually leukemia. The exact cause of the disease is unknown and it can flare up at any time but most usually when the patient is under periods of stress either physically or emotionally. Almost like a really bad case of shingles.
What happened in my grandmothers case is all of her other ailments require medications (she has many many others). These medications were basically fighting each other and caused the sweets syndrome to flair which resulted in her retaining fluid. Massive amounts of fluid. In order to control the Sweet's syndrome they had to give her prednisone....a steroid, which causes inflammation, hence the fluid retention. So to combat that they had to give her larger than usual doses of Lasix, a diuretic, which caused her to be nauseated and unable to eat, again contributing to the fluid retention. They have gotten the balance of these two meds in check, have given her an anti-nausea medication and she is starting to recover. She is still a very sick woman and really doesn't have much fight left in her but the doctors feel she should make a full recovery at this time.
So once again, my many thanks to all of you for your care and concern and energy and prayer.
