I had flare ups everyday last week. I know it was the cheating I did over the holidays. I ate pure sugar (cookies) as opposed to the normal cheats of bread, etc and the flare-ups were HORRIBLE!! No wonder I stayed bed-ridden while going through my fibro collapse!!! I wish I knew then what I know now!

Anyhow, through the flareups I did manage to walk 1 mile a day. I know! For me that in itself is a miracle. But I am seeing bagging skin on my thigh and yuck!!! That alone is bothering me enough to suffer the mile! LOL

Today it is raining out and I am babysiting till 3 so the walk is coming in tonight, in rain, if I have to. I just can't see doing pilates right now. Not unless a pill kicks in! lOL

Keep up the hard work Nancy and quietone! It is a new year and time for new bods!!! WE CAN DO IT!!!

Where is calicocat?

Hi Nancy!

I walked 1 mile today. I woke up very hung over from a VERY active day yesterday. I took me hours to wake up and get moving, not to mention the pain. But I did manage to get out and do 1 mile! That was wonderful and it is a beautiful day here!

I can't promise anything with pilates. Husband asleep on couch and I won't dare do them in front of him!
I will change this later if a change occurs!

Have a great day!!

I walked one mile today. I want to do pilates but not sure I can pull it off. I am having a hard time recovering from yesterdays HIGHLY active schedule. But walking was good!

Have a great day!

Hi!

I am still in a very acute flare-up that is making my legs go into muscle spasms that make it near impossible to drive or walk. Does anyone else get these???
Anyway, due to that my steps are low. 4,349 toward my goal of 10,250.
Oh well, will see what tomorrow brings.
Hugs,
Nancy

I am sorry to hear it, Nancy. I hope you are feeling better soon! Don't let it mentally get to you. Just baby yourself, you are worth it!

I managed to walk today for the simple fact that I am in the Valentine's Day challenge and wanted to see my numbers move up!(confession) but Hey!, whatever it takes! Right?

I need to get moving in pilates. I know that is what I need but it is not coming very easy. Need to find out more. Maybe the knowlege of it would encourage me.

Nancy, thanks for your faithfulness to this thread. It helps coming here. I wish more would jump on. LOL Sometimes we are both down. Yikes!

Lots of love,
Jimsbride

Hi Michelle,
Just wanted to post to you to let you know I am still here but can not really exercise. Yikes! This flare is bad!!! I do try to walk around the house a few times every hour or so but even that sets off spasms in my legs and hips!!! Thank goodness I am busy with a project of hand quilting or I would go nuts! Can't drive..can't do much of anything. I won't be making my step goal this week...BUT there is always next week.
Hugs to you!!!
Nancy

Hi Michelle!

Did 3 10 min intervals of walking on the dreadmill yesterday with no leg spasms. Will aim for that today and if still OK will see if I can go a bit longer.
Hugs,
Nancy
