Do we have to cook? I hate cooking and I'm not that great. Can I just bring something already made?
I know I'm not the host but red, I would be happy just to meet you ... no problem with the cooking, anything would be just fine -- I'm sure Mary and the others would concur with that!!

Hi guys & gals!

Yep, even Mineral Water or Splenda drink would be sooooper easy, too!

Sorry to hear that you can't make it, brobin (killer wife and all, lol!!!)

I don't know if there are BBQ's but if I get a free day (good one), I will check it out. I guess I could google it...

Maybe we'll do a little "favourite food or recipe" method of bringing food? Or did we all want to bring our own? I don't mind sharing whatever I end up bringing, and I am quite sure we all enjoy eating, so we can share maybe...

What do y'all think??

Mary

Thanks Hummelda! I'm already in! I guess we have to decide how/what we are bringing.

Hi y'all

countonit has also said s/he will be joining us (forgot to look at gender...)

FYI, I work at M&M Meat shops and can pick up some meat (probably chicken or beef) for a discount!

If we are pot-lucking it, I'll bring a big bunch of organic greens from Costco and a home made oil and vinegar dressing.

If you get the chicken or beef from M&M, Itty, I'll chip in some for the cost.

Oh yeah, I'm a she! LOL!

So, I am back from Germany. Terrible trip. Three weeks of no Atkins-friendly food, but still only put on three pounds in three weeks and got all of them off in two days of being back.

So, how did the meeting go? Lots of people? What is happening with the people from the Oakville/Burlington/Hamilton/Grimsby/St.Catharines area?

Cheers

Hi Tilt

Just a few of us this time, but a really yummy picnic! It was a pretty nice day, too, not too hot!

I am getting hungry again, too... we'll have to go out again!

Just sort of bumping this up to the top...

I'm in Oakville and I think it's a great idea to get together! Are there any other meetings coming up in the near future?

A get together might be a good after after the kids get settled into school and before the snow flies.

I could be up for another get together. Now we just need to figure out where and when.

Hi folks

How are Saturday evenings or Sunday lunches?? I am good for those times, but I go to school during the days.

Anytime works for me as long as I can make it back to Hamilton on the GO bus and not get stranded by missing the last bus out of TO.
