All those features are available in FireFox, plus a few more

I found the buddy list in the chatbox (it doesn't work on my "quick links" either - I use Internet Explorer), but you used to be able to click on their name and it would take you to their profile so you could click on their journal icon. This feature isn't available anymore. Is there a way to incorporate that back in? It was very handy! Thanks!

Dang! I didn't realize they took that away. I'll put it on my to-do list, it shouldn't be too hard to bring it back.

Click on the lightbulb next to the username; that will open their profile page

Hi

Am I missing the "mark forum read" button? I don't see it anywhere, and I like that feature to track my blatherings...

I really don't like the structure of the posts in the threads, with the user information on top. It makes it harder to read a thread... more scrolling, and more distraction.

It's available in the "Quick Links" popup menu, and at the bottom of the main page, under the last forum.

You can switch back to the old style. Choose "Old Style" From your profile options, or from the quick style chooser at the bottom of the forum, on the green bar.

When you open a forum, at the top of the list of thread titles, you'll see a pull-down menu called "Forum Tools". There you'll find the option to mark that particular forum read, and to subscribe.

The "mark forums read" link in the Quick Links menu will mark ALL forums, not just the current one.

I can't seem to find a place to "Mark this forum read". (ok I see now why I was writting this reply, someone else asked too ) I also find the name and stats box at the top of each post a little large and they seem to take over the screen and dominate the posts. I found clicking old style does help this somewhat.

The main pages where threads are listed are good. I really like the new cute icon next to polls.

Also missing is at the bottom of the screem a quick link back to the bored from this thread. It used to be placed just above previous thread and next thread. This isn't a big deal as scrolling ot the top of the screen lets you get back a level, but having it at the bottom was faster and nice.

What are the little triangles next to the light bulbs under names?

Ooops, never mind... just read through the other posts and saw that there is a style choice... will the style I choose come up by default, or will I have to select it each time?

Hi again, sorry tamarian, I meant for this one thread... so I know I've read what was in, ie Atkins, Canada, etc.

Thx...

Never mind, thanks Doreen!
