Default Faux fried taters

I had bought some Kohlrabi not knowing what to do with it. I got an urge for fried taters and onions. Peeled the Kohlrabi, sliced like taters, and fried in a little oil with onions. It was incredible!

A vegetable, sort of like a turnip, has somewhat of a cabbage taste.

Does it get crispy?? Turnips get mushy when fried.
