Hi Bob,
I am still curious to see that one day menu, would like to see a weeks menu but I know that is a lot of trouble. Would like to see the amount of vegies & what kind you have. You didn't mention much about them, salads etc. Hope all is going well on your new way of eating.

Default Wow!!

Bob and OThers... such a response I am overwhelemd.
First I may say I agree with Bob on many counts.
But others offerred great insight as well.

I have tried some of the 'packaged' breakfast products and find them SORELY lacking in both taste and texture. Atkins Pancake mix is worse than cardboard. Just now trying a low carb hot ceareal .... but I don't have much hope.

I agree that fruit ( in any form ) first thing in the day blows the whole insulin theory. I haven't gained weight .... but I haven't lost any either. At least since the fall 'harvest' came in.

I had NO cravings or other problems this past spring or summer with craving anything. So the 'craving' theory does not make sense to me.
I am not so sure it is just not a 'seasonal' thing. Winter is a time for 'hibernation' and that brings into play all those kinds of foods.

IF you want to offer personal messages you can email me at jgb1844~yahoo.com

But I will check in here for further insight and suggestions.

Default me too

Bratina ... I would also like to see a menu... one day or one week - would be nice.

PS the hard part about breakfast is the time involved. Need something quick & easy , or at least I can think of the night before.
