I have such a great butcher.. only... I have problems finding fatty cuts of meat!! They have no fatty cuts of beef. (at least when I asked at the counter in my pathetic German) I couldn't believe it. Will have to bring the husband along (the real German speaker) to see if we can order something. I miss things like rib eye, prime rib, skirt steak etc. I also miss beef for 1.99 per pound hahaha I'll never find that here! I prefer beef and lamb meat to be my staple and don't want to have to add fat from other sources (ie: lard) especially if the animal was grassfed, plus it just tastes so good...

Binki - there are several online free translators, the Jiffy German phrasebook is good too. I find a lot of what I say doesnot have to be perfect or 100% accurate, I just mention that I only speak a bit of German and they listen carefully and I slowly try to get my point across using key words, if I can't actually say the sentence properly. Most people understand eventually and they all appreciate the effort even though they probably speak English. You'll find a LOT of English speaking Germans, especially young people. I've been interrupted in my halting Germany many times by fluent Eglish speakers

Hi Binki!

Congretulation for getting tickets.

You should not have problems to find something appropriate to drink. They sell mineral water (Wasser) and diet coke (Cola light) for sure.
But to be true, I don't think they will sell diet red bull, which is not very common....

How many matches are you going to see? And where?
