Talking Improved Jello... this is great

the only thing that gets me through induction is SF jello but I was getting really sick of it and about to give up, but then I had an idea. I was serving myself some jello when I saw a lemon on the counter. I decided to squeeze some on my strawberyy jello to see if it was good... OMG, it tasted like JOLLY RANCHERS. It was delicious. I had decided to make some with the lemon juice mixed in the recipe... then I was going to add some club soda for a texture change, however, we were out and the only thing we had was diet 7up so I substituted the 2cups cold water for 2 cups diet 7up. Let me tell you... this was unbelieveable. It was delicious. It tastes like candy. This definately helps my cravings and I know I can do it now

When making your jello, add a package of unsweetened kool-aid when you are dissolving the jello. Pick a flavor that goes with the jello- strawberry koolaid with strawberry jello- etc etc. This will give you a tangy sort of sour jello that tastes great!!!

It turns out the same but it's sugar free and sweetened with aspartame. "SF" stands for sugar free.

They actually have premade Jolly Rancher brand jello - it's sweetened with sucralose (Splenda). Comes in all your favorite freaky, flourescent flavors.

Is there a recipe out there for jello made
with splenda? We cannot buy it in the
grocery stores with splenda?

Diet 7up also contains asperteme, so if you are sensitive to this, be careful.

I have a whole 12 back in the fridge :/ tempted to go ahead and drink it, but don't want to have stalling.

Mmmmmmm that sounds good. I just love jello and it's so cheap. I like to substitute the cold water for cold whipping cream. It really gives it a nice flavour, and it's easy too!!

Thanx Nicole
