Default Lose 5lb challenge #347

This is a challenge to lose 5 pounds at a time!

Anyone can join at anytime.
Just copy LAST post and add your name at the bottom of the list, or if there are people above 5 lbs to go, add your name after that last 5 lbs- to- go person listed.
Use the start-weight from the day when you join this challenge. Start at 5.0 lbs to go.
Update your weight as often as you like and move yourself up in the ranks accordingly.
When someone loses 5 lbs we have a WINNER! There can be more than 1 winner in the same day!

Then we start a new thread and begin again.

It's always advantageous when a challenge starts on a bloat day LOL. I ate a crap ton last night for dinner, though, and I expected to go up a pound.

Thanks ferrygirl!

jschwab you and I think alike!

I just can't believe this. 2 weeks ago my roommate burned incense for a couple of hours. Ever since I've been coughing, I went to Urgent Care today and they gave me a nebulizer treatment and put me on 5 medications including prednisone. My expectations for weight loss are low (at least I'll be able to breath).

That's awful! My lungs have been not great since a terrible infection I had recently. You must have been really bad off!

Did you get your lungs checked out?

It is hard to be a cashier when you don't have enough air and you're always lifting things.

I found a new place with Christians who never burn incense or use air freshers. I think I will be healthier there.

I thought I'd pretty much stayed on plan over the weekend except for one evening. I expected to be up some, though, as that's how these things go. Yesterday afternoon, unable to resist a "preview," I hopped on the scale and is said 232.4. I assumed it would be down this morning, but noooo. It's exactly the same! Some of my measurements are down for the week, and my scale says my BF% has dropped. So that all makes no sense.

On top of that nuttiness, my scale is also being really unreliable (I can step on it several times in a row and it says something different every single time). I think it's time for a new scale.

Nawchem, I'm glad you got some meds to help out with your asthma. Hopefully, it will clear up quickly and you start feeling lots better!

Thanks City. My scale has done the stay the same overnight thing, if I drop my carbs the next day I'll lose. Maybe just water weight.

I've had a box of cookies sitting in my room, last night I ate nearly the whole box. Their little Vietnamese cookies, tasted like they had a secret ingredient. I googled Bao Sen and got Lotus. I hope this isn't the prednisone affect.
