Actually, I hit goal last week but wanted to make sure I was going to stick in that neighborhood for a few days before fully accepting it. Looks like I'm there! I'm back to using fitday religiously so I know what's going on with the big picture and I feel more free to experiment. I know, technically I was supposed to experiment the last 10# but I was really too afraid to risk going backwards. Now I have my "zone" to work with and I feel more courageous.
Thanks for the help/support from everyone here. It's been great to get input and use your experiences to work on crafting my lifetime diet! :-)

Oh my gosh Brenda that is so awesome. I am hoping more maintenance folks will start posting to this side of the forum. I feel the same way you do almost afraid to raise my carbs for fear that the weight loss will slow down to the point that I'll get discouraged.
Thank you all! It's been over a month now and I'm still at/below goal. I've been in control throughout vacations and Halloween so I'm feeling confident, yet know I need to remain diligent as well.
To add to it all, I got my cholesterol tested last week and the results arrived today. My overall number went DOWN 7pts from last year (before starting Atkins) and all the other numbers went up or down (whichever way is better for them to move) -- some quite significantly. Coming from a family where everyone dies of heart problems, you don't know what it means to see all those numbers in the "best possible" category and know my risk is lowered significantly.
